- Type-material: lectotype worker (by designation of DuBois, 1998b: 272), 10 paralectotype workers, 1 paralectotype queen.
- Type-locality: Russia: Caucasus, shore of Black Sea, Tuapse, Georgievskoe forestry, v.-vi.1954 (K. Arnol’di).
- Type-depository: ZMUM.
