BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

Born Adrano (Catania) 1 July 1897 died Portici (Napoli) 1 September 1972. Worked in the "Laboratorio di Entomologia Agraria" of Portici from 1924; afterwards Director of the Institute of Agronomical Entomology in Pisa (1940-48) and Portici (1948-72). Published mostly in agronomical entomology of Italy, Somalia and Santo Domingo.
