The manuscript collection of George Alexander James Rothney (1849-1922) comprises a manuscript on Aculeate Hymenoptera collected in Barrakpore Park, India, 1872-1886, 1893.

George Alexander James Rothney (1849-1922) formed an extensive collection of Oriental Hymenoptera during his travels in India. His library and collection was donated to the Hope Entomological Collections, Oxford.
