- Type-material: holotype worker, 2 paratype workers.
- Type-locality: holotype Indonesia: Sulawesi, Lore Lindu N.P., Toro, 14.vii.1983 (Moffett & Fletcher); paratypes with same data.
- [Note: original pencil data label on specimens said only “Lore Lindu III”; fuller data were added by Bolton, 1992: 42, on a separate label.]
- Type-depositories: MCZC (holotype); BMNH, MCZC (paratypes).
- Status as species: Bolton, 1995b: 377; Jaitrong, Tokeeree, et al. 2019: 60 (in key).
- Distribution: Indonesia (Sulawesi).
