Identification

Dubovikoff (2005) - Close to the endemic Proformica kobachidzei and Proformica pilosiscapa from the Caucasus Mountains, but differs from them and other species by the accumbent downiness of abdomen, more abundant raised downiness of the abdomen, and measurements of the heads of both larger and small workers.
