    • Type-locality: holotype Papua New Guinea: Lower Busu River, nr Lae, 4.v.1955, no. 936 (E.O. Wilson); paratypes with same data.
    • Type-depositories: MCZC, NHMB.
    • Combination in Parasyscia: Borowiec, M.L. 2016: 205.
    • Status as species: Brown, 1975: 23; Bolton, 1995b: 144.
