- Type-material: holotype male, 4 paratype males.
- Type-locality: holotype Brazil: Goiás, Campinas, 10.i.1934 (T. Borgmeier); paratypes with same data.
- Type-depository: MZSP.
- Status as species: Borgmeier, 1955: 608 (redescription); Kempf, 1972a: 160; Watkins, 1976: 26 (in key); Bolton, 1995b: 291.
