    • Type-material: 2 syntype males.
    • Type-locality: Mexico: Soconusco (H. & H. Kulow).
    • Type-depository: MZSP (second syntype was in Hamburg Museum, destroyed in World War II).
    • Combination in Neivamyrmex: Borgmeier, 1953: 9.
    • Subspecies of spoliator: Emery, 1910b: 27.
    • Status as species: Borgmeier, 1953: 9; Borgmeier, 1955: 650 (redescription); Kempf, 1972a: 160; Watkins, 1976: 23 (in key); Watkins, 1982: 213 (in key); Bolton, 1995b: 291; Branstetter & Sáenz, 2012: 254.
    • Distribution: Belize, Guatemala, Mexico.
