    • Type-material: 5 syntype males.
    • Type-locality: 4 males Brazil: São Paulo, Agudos, i.1953, 6.iii.1953, 26.ii.1954, nos 766, 921, 922 (W.W. Kempf), and 1 male: Brazil: Bahia, Canudos, vii.1951 (Travassos).
    • Type-depositories: MZSP, NHMB.
    • Status as species: Kempf, 1972a: 154; Watkins, 1976: 19 (in key); Bolton, 1995b: 289.
    • Distribution: Brazil.
