  • chamelensis. Neivamyrmex chamelensis Watkins, 1986: 361, figs. 1-11 (w.q.) MEXICO (Jalisco).
    • Type-material: holotype worker, 6+ paratype workers (total number not stated), 1 paratype ergatoid queen.
    • Type-locality: holotype Mexico: Jalisco, Chamela Biological Station, 19°30’N, 105°03’W, 21.vi.1984, colony W-329 (J.F. Watkins & C.J. Coody); paratypes: 6+ workers, 1 queen with same data.
    • Type-depositories: USNM (holotype); AMNH, JFWC, LACM, MCZC, USNM (paratypes).
    • Status as species: Brandão, 1991: 359; Bolton, 1995b: 288; Ward, 1999a: 91 (in key).
    • Distribution: Mexico.
