- Type-material: lectotype worker (by designation of Schödl, 2004: 354), 2 paralectotype workers.
- Type-locality: lectotype Australia: Victoria, Yarra Dist. (no collector’s name); paralectotypes with same data.
- Type-depositories: MHNG (lectotype); ANIC, MHNG (paralectotypes).
