    • Combination in Lepisiota: Bolton, 1995b: 227.
    • Junior synonym of semenovi: Dlussky, Soyunov & Zabelin, 1990: 165.
    • Status as species: Pashaei Rad et al., 2018: 6.

Taxonomic Notes

Pashaei Rad et al. (2018): Type location Turkestan, syntype worker CASENT0912406. Kuznetsov-Ugamsky’s illustration of the petioles of this and Lepisiota semenovi show, that like our specimens, litoralis has a deeper incurved dorsum to the petiole in front view.
