    • Type-material: holotype worker, 7 paratype workers, 1 paratype queen.
    • Type-locality: holotype China: Yunnan Prov., Anning County (24°56’N, 102°26’E), 1820 m., 19.vii.1991, no. A91-298 (Z. Xu); paratypes with same data but nos A91-871, A91-896.
    • Type-depository: SNUX.
    • Status as species: Xu, 1999: 134 (in key); Guénard & Dunn, 2012: 44.
    • Distribution: China.
