- Type-material: holotype worker, paratype workers (number not stated, “a long series”).
- Type-locality: holotype Colombia: Valle, ca 6 mi. W Cali, 1630 m., 20.iii.1955 (E.I. Schlinger & E.S. Ross); paratypes with same data.
- Type-depositories: CASC (holotype); CASC, MCZC, MZSP, USNM (paratypes).
