- schoutedeni. Dorylus schoutedeni Santschi, 1923e: 267, fig. 2a-d (m.) DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO.
- Type-material: syntype males (number not stated).
- Type-localities: Democratic Republic of Congo (“Congo belge”): Matadi, 29.xi.1920 (H. Schouteden), Yumbi, 28.xii.1920 (H. Schouteden), and Moyen Kwilu, Leverville (P. Vanderijst).
- Type-depositories: MRAC, NHMB.
- Status as species: Bolton, 1995b: 180.
- Distribution: Democratic Republic of Congo.
