- Type-material: syntype workers (number not stated, “several”).
- Type-locality: Kenya: (no further data), on Acacia dupanolobrum (received from Donisthorpe).
- Type-depository: NHMB (perhaps also BMNH).
- Subspecies of mimosae: Bolton, 1995b: 164; Hita Garcia, et al. 2013: 211.
- Status as species: Taylor & McGavin, 2020: 14.
- Distribution: Kenya.
