Specimen Labels

Probably the commonest member of the subgenus and often found in association with Oecophylla longinoda, it nests in dead branch ends and crevices or rot holes on living trees. It tends stictococcids and constructs discrete carton tents. Also found on native shrubs and trees, and on cashew, coffee, mango and kola, as well as Anacardium occidentale and Terminalia laxiflora (Taylor et al., 2018).
