- cupida. Crematogaster (Oxygyne) margaritae st. cupida Santschi, 1935a: 261, fig. 3 (w.) DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO.
- Type-material: 8 syntype workers (“all more or less destroyed by anthrenine beetles”).
- Type-locality: Democratic Republic of Congo (“Congo belge”): Luebo-Macaco, 27.ix.1921 (H. Schouteden).
- Type-depository: MRAC.
- Subspecies of margaritae: Bolton, 1995b: 151.
- Distribution: Democratic Republic of Congo.
