    • Type-locality: Indonesia: Irian Jaya (“Dutch New Guinea”): Cyclops Mts, Sabron, 930 ft, vi.1935, tube 194 (L.E. Cheesman).
    • Type-depository: BMNH.
    • Subspecies of major: Chapman & Capco, 1951: 98; Bolton, 1995b: 153.
    • Distribution: Indonesia (Irian Jaya).
