- Type-material: syntype workers, syntype queens (numbers not stated, “a great number”).

- Type-localities: Congo (“Congo français”): Brazzaville (A. Weiss) (invalid restriction of type-locality by Wheeler, W.M. 1922a: 856; no lectotype designated), Gabon (no further data).
