Taxonomic Notes
Heterick (2021): Examination of the type images on AntWeb make it abundantly clear that Crematogaster pythia is a junior synonym of C. laeviceps clarior, which is a distinct taxon to Crematogaster laeviceps and is raised to species status in this work.
