- Type-material: holotype worker.
- Type-locality: Guyana (“British Guiana”): Mazaruni River, nr Forest Settlement, 30.viii.1935, in stomach of Bufo marinus (N.A. Weber).
- Type-depository: MCZC.
- Subspecies of brasiliensis: Kempf, 1972a: 84; Bolton, 1995b: 147.
- Distribution: Guyana.
