    • Type-material: holotype worker, 2 paratype workers.
    • Type-locality: holotype Kenya: Embu, Kirimiri Forest, W Runyenje, 1500 m., 3.x.1977 (V. Mahnert & J.L. Perret); paratypes with same data.
    • Type-depositories: MHNG (holotype); BMNH (paratypes).
    • Combination in Carebara: Fernández, 2004a: 235.
    • Status as species: Bolton, 1995b: 311; Hita Garcia, et al. 2013: 209.
    • Distribution: Kenya.
