Nomenclature
The following information is derived from Barry Bolton's Online Catalogue of the Ants of the World.
- pisinna. Paedalgus pisinnus Bolton & Belshaw, 1993: 187, fig. 5 (w.m.) KENYA.
- Type-material: holotype worker, 8 paratype workers, 4 paratype males.
- Type-locality: holotype Kenya: Ruaraka, 17.xi.1983 (J. Darlington); paratypes with same data.
- Type-depositories: BMNH (holotype); BMNH, MCZC, MHNG, SAMC (paratypes).
- Combination in Carebara: Fernández, 2004a: 235.
- Status as species: Bolton, 1995b: 311; Hita Garcia, et al. 2013: 209.
- Distribution: Kenya.
