- Type-material: holotype queen, 1 paratype male (in copula).
- Type-locality: holotype South Sudan (“Anglo-Egyptian Sudan”): Equatoria, Yei, 13.viii.1939, no. 1486 (N.A. Weber); paratype with same data.
- Type-depository: MCZC.
- Status as species: Ettershank, 1966: 127; Bolton, 1995b: 133.
- Distribution: South Sudan.
