    • Type-locality: Democratic Republic of Congo: Bengemiza on Lindi river, 2 days from Stanleyville (= Kisangani) (H. Kohl).
    • Type-depository: MHNG.
    • Combination in C. (Tanaemyrmex): Emery, 1925b: 84.
