- Type-locality: holotype Zimbabwe: Bulawayo, 5.ii.1913 (G. Arnold); paratypes: 3 workers with same data, 1 worker Bulawayo, 14.ii.1914 (G. Arnold).
- Type-depositories: BMNH (holotype); BMNH. MCZC, SAMC (paratypes).
