- Type-material: holotype worker, 2 paratype workers.
- Type-locality: holotype Uganda: Fort Portal, ii.1948, no. 2095 (N.A. Weber); paratypes: 1 worker Democratic Republic of Congo (“B. Congo”): W side Ruwenzori, ii.1948, no. 2112 (N.A. Weber), 1 worker Kenya: Kaimosi Mission, 27 mi. NE Kisumu, 1650 m., 25.xi.1957 (E.S. Ross & R.E. Leech).
- Type-depositories: MCZC (holotype); BMNH. MCZC (paratypes) (perhaps also CASC).
