- Type-material: holotype worker, 5 paratype workers, 1 paratype queen.
- Type-locality: holotype Ghana: Baudua, 27.viii.1969, rotten stump (D. Leston); paratypes: 3 workers with same data, 1 worker Nigeria: Gambari (= Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria), 20.vi.1969, rotten log (B. Bolton), 1 worker Gabon: Plateau d’Ipassa, IPA 7 C1 (J.A. Barra), 1 queen Ivory Coast: Divo, 18.iii.1963, rainforest litter (L. Brader).
- Type-depositories: BMNH (holotype); BMNH. MCZC, NHMB (paratypes).
