    • Type-localities: queen Italy: vic. Naples, v.1866 (A. Costa), male Italy: Terre d’Otrante, Lecce, v.1866 (A. Costa).
    • Type-depository: DEUN (syntypes destroyed).
    • [Note: Emery, 1925e: 17, explained that both syntypes had been eaten by Anthrenus beetles.]
