  • messoroides. Aphaenogaster messoroides Dlussky, in Dlussky, Soyunov & Zabelin, 1990: 213, fig. 24 (w.m.) TURKMENISTAN.
    • Type-material: holotype worker, paratype workers (number not stated), 2 paratype males.
    • Type-locality: holotype Turkmenistan: Kopet Dag, vic. Kara-Kaly, Parkhai tract, 13-29.v.1984 (S.I. Zabelin); paratypes: workers with same data but 10.v.1984, 2 males 2.vi.1985 (from same nest).
    • Type-depository: ZMUM.
    • Status as species: Bolton, 1995b: 71.
    • Distribution: Turkmenistan.
