Taxonomic Notes

Seniority of the synonyms is incorrect. Emery, 1908c: 331 (footnote), explained that subterraneosplendida and sicula were the same taxon. As André, 1883b: 359, made subterraneosplendida available long before the establishment of sicula Emery, 1908c: 331, the former has priority and is the first available name, and sicula is its junior synonym.]
