  • noctivagus. Aenictus bottegoi st. noctivagus Santschi, 1913c: 303, fig. 1 (m.) ETHIOPIA.
    • Type-material: 2 syntype males.
    • Type-locality: Ethiopia (“Abyssinia”) (no further data).
    • Type-depository: NHMB.
    • Subspecies of bottegoi: Wheeler, W.M. 1922a: 751; Bolton, 1995b: 60.
    • Distribution: Ethiopia.
