BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

Bror Yngve Sjöstedt is a naturalist Swedish, born August 3 1866 at Hjo and died in 1948.

He earned his degree and his doctorate in 1896 in Uppsala. He worked as an assistant in the body entomological State 1897 to 1902, he became professor at that time and steward of the Swedish Museum of Natural History. He made several expeditions to the east and west of the Africa, including Kilimanjaro
