- Type-material: holotype worker, 19 paratype workers.
- Type-locality: holotype Indonesia: Sulawesi Utara, Dumoga Bone N.P., 200-400 m., ii.1985, 2m-square sample of litter, lowland rainforest, sample BB3 (P.M. Hammond); paratypes: 3 workers with same data, 8 workers with same data but samples BB2, BB7, BB12, 8 workers Dumoga Bone N. P., 9-16.v.1985 (P.M. Hammond) .
- Type-depositories: BMNH (holotype); BMNH, MCZC (paratypes).
- Status as species: Bolton, 1995b: 377; Jaitrong, Tokeeree, et al. 2019: 60 (in key).
- Distribution: Indonesia (Sulawesi).
