    • Type-material: holotype worker, 9 paratype workers.
    • Type-locality: Brazil: Santa Catarina, Nova Teutonia, iv. and x.1954, Berlesate (F. Plaumann); paratypes with same data.
    • Type-depositories: MZSP (holotype); MCZC, MZSP, USNM (paratypes).
    • Combination in Neocerapachys: Borowiec, M.L. 2016: 184.
