Combination in Pachycondyla: Mackay & Mackay, 2010: 3 (by implication as Cryptopone synonymised with Pachycondyla); in Cryptopone: Schmidt & Shattuck, 2014: 185. Senior synonym of anommata, emeryi, mayri, sarawakana: Wilson, 1958d: 360.
