Soudek, Štěpán (1899-1936)
BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
Dr. Štěpán Soudek, Stepan Soudek, (born 28 August 1889 in Hluboka - died on 20 February 1936). After the First World War, which acted as an officer, became a schoolteacher. In 1920 he became assistant at the Institute of Zoology, University of Agriculture in Brno, At that time he worked mainly on the study of ants, which issued a series of scientific papers.
He had an unexpected death on 20 February 1936 at the age of forty-six.
