Diagnosis
The type, which has not been examined in this study, is in the Dejean collection (Rene Oberthur Collection), and is said by Lindroth (1955: 25) to differ from hicolor in that the segments of the flagellum are narrower. It was collected in "Ameriqne septentrionale," probably in southern Georgia or New Jersey, as it was sent to Dejean by LeConte.
