Specimen Labels

Like the other members of the P. hexacantha complex, this species occurs in the mountainous parts of southeastern New South Wales and the ACT to the Victorian Alps and as far south as Tasmania.

Identification

With its highly polished body, P. semipolita is a very easily recognised member of the hexacantha complex (Kohout, 2012).
