This species is known from a mountainous region of east-central China and has been collected at an elevation of 930m.

Identification

This species is close to Dolichoderus sibiricus, but the posterior margin of the head is convex, the anterior margin of the clypeus is not concave centrally, erect hairs are present on the dorsa of the head and body and the first two segments of the gaster lack light spots.
